Breeding Practices
Breeding dogs is an act of heart and I am committed to breeding only healthy animals in my program. It is important to me that each of our dogs, or dogs we select to breed with, completes all AKC recommended testing. This includes OFA Hips or PENN Hips, OFA Elbows, OFA Heart, annual OFA Eye exams, as well as a full DNA health panel before they officially enter our program. We strive to be open and transparent about our practices and all of our health tests are available for review. Please contact me if you have any additional questions about our Freedom Retrievers.
UKIAH – “Soul Simphony Be Denali ”
Ukiah is a very tender and sweet soul. She is tender and loving and wants nothing more than to be with her people. She loves to play with other dogs and is quite the attentive mother fostering confident little floofs. One of her puppies has gone on to be trained to detect specific medical issues. She enjoys being on walks and paddle boarding with her human (my daughter). She is very smart and responsive.

Benelli is smart as a whip and a beautiful girl inside and out. She is the happiest golden with a forever smile. She loves to play hide and seek in our backwoods as well as to join the family for a game of cards and is gentle when she is at the table. She loves other animals and is a great nurturing mother. She is also keenly aware of an elderly, medically challenged member of our home and is attentive and gentle. It is no surprise that many of her puppies have gone on to be support and therapy dogs.
